Waiting is not a punishment, it’s preparation to receive God’s best
Waiting is not a destination, it’s a journey that only makes us stronger.
For what does one wait?
From the WORD to the world all had to wait.
When God created the earth Adam waited for Eve
Joseph waited 13 years
Abraham waited 25 years
Moses waited 40 years
The WORD that dwelt among us (JESUS) had to wait for 30 years to start his ministry
David waited to become king after being anointed by Samuel.
The father waited for his prodigal son who frittered away
Noah waited for the rainbow after the flood
So if you are in waiting then you are in good company.
Probably you have waited too long for something in your life.
Maybe you’ve been waiting for healing or a loved one to be saved. A single mother waiting for her monetary. An orphan waiting to be adopted in a family. So many waiting……
Waiting is a process where things get better when we wait on God. God always waits for us to return to him. He has a time and a place for all of us. Waiting is never wasted. God has placed you where you’re at this very moment for a reason and a season. Nothing happens by accident. There are no accidents with God. God is directing each of your steps. Let go of your problems and let God handle. Let go of your hurt and wait on God for healing. Let go of your fears for he sustains you. It’s better to wait a while and have things fall in place than to rush and have things fall apart.
So trust God and his timing! Don’t underestimate what God is doing in your season of waiting. While you wait- worship him, praise him, honor him with your life. Walk-in his statutes and listen to his voice while you wait. Waiting is a promise for greater things in him. So wait on him for all things are made beautiful in His time.
