This pandemic has been difficult for everyone. However, I am particularly proud of how well my children are doing with having their world turned upside down.
Logan and Abby live in a group home. One of the effects of their autism is that change is routine is difficult. Yet, they have have done far better than anyone could imagine. They seem to be doing really well.
Justus, Emma and Faith are at home with us. They are 12-14 years old, which is difficult at the best of times. They don’t like what the pandemic has done but they have done really well. Not to say that they don’s struggle but they are doing better than anyone could have expected.
I never experienced anything like this as a young person. I have no idea how I would have done. But my children are doing well and that is Good News.
